Introducing Fab Fadz

Hello to all you fashionistas of San Diego. I’m Jessica Stevens writing to you from North County with all the latest and greatest fadz going on right now.

But before we get deep into trends, lets talk about me. I’m a 23-year-old cosmetology student with some great tips in my back pocket to share with you. I have a great husband with zero style, but that’s why I love him, plus it makes me look even better. We are the proud owners of an8-month-oldSchipperke, small black dog if you don’t know what that is, look them up, they are adorable. His name is Turk; he wears Belle Pepper Couture clothing.
After seeing so many trends come in, then go out and then come in again, it sometimes can make it hard for us to follow. Looking good can be easy, but if you want to look great, you got to be on top of you style game 100% of the time. Now that I have said that, you also might want to remember that just because it’s in, does not mean that it is you.

For instance, I love a good skinny jean as much as the next person, but I rarely can find one that doesn’t make me look like I have tree trunks for legs. Really, they do look cute on so many, but they are definitely not for all of us, this trend is one to be worn with discretion.  Jealous of the chosen few with thin thighs? Look for a fitted jean that has the slightest flare at the bottom, also known as the boot cut jean. This will give the effect that a skinny jean gives without the all to tragic cankle (calf and ankle meet with out definition) look.  Want to find a good deal on this rendition of the skinny pant style? Hit up the nearest Old Navy, or JCPenny, the brand from JCP is Tint in the more “trendy” woman’s section.

Once you have these pants in your possession, be original skinny or the boot skinny; get yourself a trapeze tunic tank and some flat strappy roman sandals in a metallic hue. Rock this look all through spring and summer, and don’t worry you’ll look great. Just remember that no matter your look, size, body style whatever; as long as you love it and yourself, work it –rock it – live it---Your Perf!
